The purpose of this research project is to analyze from a gender perspective, which is the logic behind the social processes of impoverishment and social exclusion that affect women in Spain and how their experience, ie, how they define poverty and its relations with the other elements around them: family, work, social groups, housekeeping, care of dependents. The central focus of research is to compare poverty and differences in the processes of impoverishment and social exclusion among women and men in Spain.
